Since every person, family, and situation is unique, we customize our methods to meet the needs of our clients. Once the family and/or heirs decide what will be kept, we can then determine the best venue to liquidate the remaining items. We pride ourselves in helping to take some of the stress out of winding up a loved one's estate.

High-end valuables can be sold through a quality, reputable auction house. Items of moderate value may be sold at a local auction house or consignment shop. Useable items with little or no resale value could be donated to a local charity and if practical we would request a tax deduction.

We are expert in the use of online auctions like Ebay, online classifieds like Kijiji and Craigslist.

Even blankets, towels, linens, cleaning supplies, and other items can be donated to various charities.  Any other remaining items would be recycled if possible, and the rest would be disposed of through using the services of junk removal service if warranted. 

 

 

Trustee's

We understand the need for documentation of values and disposal of goods that are part of an estate.  We keep detailed files, scan all documents, and provide updates as you require.  We strive to return all calls within one hour, and emails within one day.

We are bonded and have Halton Region Security Clearance.

We have contacts to help with almost any problem such as:  Evaluation experts, auctioneers, financial planners, accountants and insurance adjusters. 

We do not and cannot give legal, taxation, or financial advice.

We prefer to liquidate estate property through private sales and local dealers as it tends to be faster, safer, more predictable, and often more profitable to the estate. However, if our client wishes to have a public estate sale, we can use that method.

If needed, we will also take photographs of selected items for insurance, inventory, and/or liquidation purposes. An evaluation by a certified appraisal firm would also be provided as required.

We will work together with all third parties involved in the process, including attorneys, accountants, trusts, and/or real estate professionals. Storage and moving services will also be provided as needed, including packing, unpacking, shipping, and vehicle transportation.

Once the home is cleared, we can also stage the home for sale. During the interior staging process, we remove most personal items from the home to make it "buyer friendly". 

After the personal item removal, space planning and design geared toward the homebuyer's eye, are implemented to maximize the layout of each room. We maximize the showroom appeal to help with a quick sale for the best price possible . Most homes that are properly staged, sell faster on the real estate market and often for a higher price.
